Last night I was honoured to share the stage with some truly fine musicians at a House Party in Santa Monica. Jay Nash was headlining and his incredible talent can be witnessed here: http://www.jaynash.com/.

It's the first time I've performed in a while but it wet my appetite for more. I'm also headed back into the studio this month so watch this space......

It's been a while since I've posted a Newsbite, as I've had my head down this year writing and recording new songs for my next album, but I thought I'd appear briefly to let you know that one of my new songs, Thaw, just scored an Honorable Mention in the Billboard World Song Contest :-) You can hear Thaw on the music page of this site.
Free show at the Cinema Bar, Sunday 16th Nov, 8PM

I'm taking a break from working on my new album to play one more show this year before we all get swallowed up by the holiday season and spat out in January :-)

It's at one of my favourite venues in town - the Cinema Bar - a very casual intimate dive bar (think wood, dark, and christmas lights) and it's known for it's great music. The show is on Sunday 16th Nov at 8PM. And it's FREE :-) See Calendar section for more details.

PS It would be an understatement to say that my new album (due out in 2009, date TBC) is a labour of love. Three years in the making, it's gonna be SWEET!

This saturday, Aug 23rd, I've been invited to play a fantastic show at Room 5 on La Brea. One of LA's premier booking agents, Mitchell Schaffer, has put together a night of his favourite musicians to celebrate his birthday - and I am honoured that I was asked to play (thank you Mitchell :-)

Mitchell is also a fantastic musician. A unique sound that I might liken to Lou Reed blending with Jeff Buckley (wow) - you can hear him at www.mitchellschaffer.com.

The night starts at 8PM, I go on at 10.30PM.
