She has collaborated with acclaimed producers and musicians including John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode), Don Smith (The Rolling Stones, U2, Tom Petty, Ry Cooder), film composer Jeff Rona (Traffic, Black Hawk Down, The Thin Red Line), and members of Counting Crows and Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers.
Her latest solo album, Banshee, blends haunting English and Gaelic vocals, electronic textures, orchestral arrangements, and deeply personal songwriting into a dark and atmospheric collection ranging from stripped-down funeral laments to epic battle cries. Earlier solo releases include Ghosttown and Thaw, which Billboard described as "An impressive feat... exceptional quality and songwriting craftsmanship."
Louise also fronts the critically acclaimed Muricidae Project with legendary producer John Fryer, releasing the EPs Tales from a Silent Ocean and Tears Are Stronger Than Waves. The project received praise from Sideline, CWN, and Post-Punkfor its atmospheric production, distinctive vocals, and emotionally evocative songwriting.
Her current work includes a collection of 1980s songs reimagined as epic trailer productions, combining nostalgic songwriting with modern cinematic arrangements.
